The Carmelence View

Our recent stay at Carmelence View can only be described as a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my experience to save others from a similar ordeal. From the very moment we entered our room, it was evident that this staycation was destined for disaster. The first thing that hit us was an overwhelming stench, reminiscent of a neglected public restroom. The entire room smelled like a toilet, making it impossible to enjoy any aspect of our supposed getaway. It was so unbearable that we decided to cut our stay short after just two hours instead of enduring it overnight. Adding to the horror, we were shocked to find a cockroach crawling on the ceiling. This not only raised serious concerns about the cleanliness standards but also left us feeling disgusted and uneasy about staying any longer. The air conditioning unit, meant to provide comfort, turned out to be infested with termites. The sight of these pests was not only repulsive but also raised serious health and safety concerns. It's unacceptable that such a critical aspect of a guest's comfort is neglected to this extent. The moldy showerhead only added to our disappointment. The bathroom conditions were deplorable, and it was evident that proper cleaning and maintenance were severely lacking. To make matters worse, the towels provided had a stain that resembled old blood. The lack of attention to detail when it comes to something as basic as providing clean towels is inexcusable and only added to the overall feeling of disgust. What's truly infuriating is that the photos presented online were a complete misrepresentation of the actual conditions. The stark contrast between the advertised images and the reality we experienced is misleading and deceptive. In the end, our "staycation" was so unbearable that we decided to cut our visit short after just two hours. I strongly advise anyone considering this establishment for a getaway to think twice and explore alternative options. This was a complete waste of time and money, and the lack of cleanliness and false advertising is simply unacceptable. We never got anything back of our booked trip.
